Roller mower conditioners are gentler on forage crops than mower conditioners with fingers and combs. Roller mower conditioners are especially suitable for cutting leafy forage, such as clover and alfalfa. ELHO roller mower conditioners have polyurethane rollers with adjustable clearance. The spring-loaded and adjustable roller makes it possible to precisely adjust the conditioner to suit the particular plant and climate conditions. The rollers never touch each other.

The ELHO NM 3200 P R (pulled roller) mower conditioner has adjustable auxiliary skid shoes and can be raised high on the headland. The end-cushioned boom cylinder is attached to the centre of the cutting unit.

The standard HydroBalance suspension lightens the cutter bar so that it does not scrape along the ground or cause unnecessary friction. Hydraulic adjustable cutting height is available as an option, allowing the cutting height to be adjusted even while driving.

The bevel gear on the NM 3200 P R model can be turned by the operator. In this way, the mower conditioner can also be used on a tractor with just a 540 rpm PTO instead of a 1000 rpm PTO.

ELHO 2400 VC R (vertical centre roller) mower conditioners are known for their impressive flow, high driving speeds and clean forage. The adjustable skid shoes and HydroBalance suspension enable the cutter bar to follow the field surface precisely without hitting the ground. The conditioning rollers are gentle on forage crops, minimising crop losses also when cutting sensitive plants. Vertical centre roller mower conditioners are ideal for use also with smaller tractors on the farm. For example, the NM 2400 VC R can be used with a 75-horsepower tractor weighing 3500 kilos.

Vertical centre roller mower conditioners enable forage to be harvested with precision. For example, when working with butterfly units, unmown areas can be left between the mower conditioner and the front machine when making sharp turns. Using a combination of a front mounted mower conditioner and a side mounted mower conditioner, it is possible to turn as sharply as possible without leaving any unmown areas.

Roller mower conditioner for leafy forage!

The ELHO NM 2800 VC R (vertical centre roller) mower conditioner comes with all the key features built in. The cutting unit is suspended from the centre, allowing it to follow the surface lightly, and the extremely reliable cutter bar cuts cleanly.

In transport mode, the cutting unit rotates 120 degrees, keeping the centre of gravity over the tractor’s centreline. This makes it stable to transport even with smaller tractors.
