ELHO is a family owned business and was first established by Arne Löfvik in 1968.
Arne had farmed for many years, so the knowledge and background had already been established.
In the beginning he started by importing muck spreaders and forage harvesters from Denmark. Then in 1975, ELHO produced its first ever machine, called the "Turbo powered rake": This proved to be a very successful machine and launched the company into manufacturing other agricultural machinery.
With the help and support of a strong network of local farmers, ELHO has been able to carry out trials and tests on all its machinery. This has provided them with accurate feedback, so as to develop the products further and allowing them to be leaders in the agricultural market.
In 1980, 1988, 1995 and 2008, the company was expanded due to th esuccess of their products. Today ELHO produces 70 different products and is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of mower conditioners and round bale wrappers.
ELHO exports internationally and our customer base is still growing rapidly. We are reaching out further into the international market. Working as a team, we remain committed to producing only the best and taking into consideration the personal needs of each individual customer.
